What is the best time workout?  Some will argue working out first thing in the morning gets your metabolism going and helps to burn calories all day. Others prefer working out later in the day, saying they are more awake and have more energy.

I personally am an early bird when it comes to exercise. I know that the only way to guarantee that nothing is going to come up and interrupt my workout is to get up before everyone else in my house and get it done. Sometimes that means setting my alarm for 4:30am (YIKES). Five years ago, I would have seriously injured anybody that tried to wake me before the sun came up. But once I got into the habit of getting up early and getting my workout done, I don’t think I can ever give it up. It has become part of my daily routine, just like showering or brushing my teeth.

They say it takes 21 days to create a habit (good or bad). That is just 3 short weeks. So whether you plan to exercise before the crack of dawn or after your children go to bed, just do it for 3 weeks!  Schedule your workout time and make it non-negotiable.

So, what is the best time to workout?  Whenever you will make the time and get it done! I want to hear from you moms out there.  When do you find time to exercise?
