The “Card Deck” workout is a simple, yet VERY effective way to get in a GREAT workout. It is SO versatile, you can make it as hard or as easy as you like.
With a full deck of playing cards, leaving jokers in, you simply assign an exercise to each suit…example : “hearts” could be push ups, so if you turn over the 10 of hearts, you would do 10 push ups and then flip over another card and do the next exercise and so on until all cards are done.
Here is a sample workout…..
Diamonds – burpee’s
Hearts – push ups
Spades – sit ups
Clubs – jump squats
Jokers – 1 min plank
For each # card – that would be your rep for the exercise, face cards could be 10 for Jacks, 11 for Queens, 12 for Kings, and Aces 1 or 11.
The possibilities are endless…you can mix things up and come up with a different workout each time, simply by adding a new exercise to each suit.
