Sweet Jalapeño Salmon

Yield: 4 Servings


  • 4 — 6oz fresh salmon fillets
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ¼ cup chopped Jalapeño peppers
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt


  1. In a small saucepan, over medium heat, bring honey, lime juice, and Jalapeño peppers to a boil. Reduce to low heat and simmer mixture for 10 minutes.
  2. Wash and pat dry salmon fillets.
  3. In a small bowl, add black pepper, chili powder, cumin, and salt. Use a spoon to mix all spices together.
  4. Rub spice mixture onto both sides of salmon fillets.
  5. Place salmon fillets onto a hot grill pan over medium heat and cook for 4-5 minutes on both sides.
  6. Brush salmon fillets with honey and lime juice mixture several times while cooking.
  7. Pour remaining honey and lime juice mixture over cooked salmon fillets and top with Jalapeño peppers.
