I love making smoothie recipes for breakfast. As most of you are, I am always in a hurry trying to get out the door in the mornings, and trying to make sure that Easton and I have a good breakfast can sometimes be tricky if I don’t plan ahead.  Easton loves drinking smoothies…he calls them milkshakes so this works great as I can take them on the go with us when we are in a hurry.  I love the tropical flavors in this recipe…the kiwi, banana, and pineapple pair perfectly and provide the perfect amount of sweetness.  I also like adding some yogurt for extra protein, and after finding the carb master yogurts at Kroger with only 4 carbs, I am hooked. Feel free to add in additional fruit or another flavor of yogurt too!

Skinny Tropical Fruit Smoothie

Prep time: 5 minutes

Yield: 2 servings


  • 1 medium kiwi, remove skin + slice
  • 1 medium banana, sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple fresh or canned (if canned, make sure it is in it's own juice)
  • ½ cup ice
  • 6 oz non-fat Greek vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp Stevia® (or your favorite sweetener)


  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender until well mixed.
  2. Serve Immediately and enjoy!
