I love to bake, but I don’t have all the time in the world to spend in the kitchen. This means I usually include some packaged, store-bought items in my baking process to save some time. However, when I knew some of my latest holiday cakes called for condensed milk, I couldn’t believe the nutrition calculations! One can of sweetened condensed milk has over 1,300 calories. Crazy!
Instead, I took a little extra time to save some calories and this recipe really did the trick. By using a calorie-free sweetener in this recipe, an entire 1 1/2 cups only has 60 calories. So, trust me, the extra time is extra worth it!
