This month we want to focus on the small steps it takes to make a big change. We’re asking moms to commit to running or walking a mile each day during the month of September. By the end of the month, we want moms to be able to say they’ve completed a marathon.

After all, it’s not a race to a healthier you, it’s a marathon!

So here’s the challenge: Walk or run a mile EACH day of September and share your progress on social media using “#MarathonMom“!

Each week there will be a photo theme where we ask you to share your photos. You have the WHOLE week to upload and share! Make sure to use the #MarathonMom and share it with Skinny Mom’s social media pages: via Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. The more you share, the more chances you have to win a SM Marathon Mom Prize Pack:

  • Week 1 [Sept. 1-7]: Lace Up- Show Us Your Favorite Kicks!
  • Week 2 [Sept. 8-14]: Snap Your Scene- Show Us Where You’ve Been Running/Walking!
  • Week 3 [Sept. 15-21]: Marathon Mom- Who Have You Been on the Journey With?
  • Week 4 [Sept. 22-28]: Pre + Post-Workout Fuel- What’s Been Powering You Before/After Your Run?

There will be two “Check-In Days” aimed to make sure you all are keeping up with your miles.
