I’ve recently discovered V8 V-Fusion Juice, and I’m so excited about the find! The pomegranate and blueberry flavor is my new favorite. It blends well with the kale (seriously, besides altering the color, you won’t taste it) and other berries. The chia seeds are a nice energy alternative from your typical cup of coffee in the morning. This smoothie blends to such a beautiful deep purple color that it’s almost too pretty to drink!

*Ingredient Note: Chia seeds can be found in the nature section of your grocery store. Chia absorbs up to 12 times its own weight and expands to curb your appetite. The nutritional benefits of chia seeds include fiber, omega fatty acids, calcium, antioxidants and even protein! Chia seeds are a great addition to all your smoothies!

 
Pomegranate Blueberry Powerhouse Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • ½ cup frozen triple berries
  • ¾ cup light non-fat vanilla yogurt
  • ½ cup pomegranate and blueberry V8® V-Fusion Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
