For as long as women have been getting pregnant, expecting moms have faced this “touchy” subject…Strangers touching their tummy! Is there anything more uncomfortable than watching the hand of someone you don’t know moving toward your body to reach out and touch your sweet baby’s growing bump (even when they are just trying to be nice)?!
While it’s safe to say this can be an awkward moment, in Pennsylvania, it’s illegal. An old state statute is getting new attention after being used to charge harassment against a repeat “belly-rubbing” offender.
Where do you fall in the belly-touching debate? Is it sweet or sick? Cute or creepy?
