If you have read any of my previous blog posts, you would know that I am always on the run. I grew up with a mom who was a hard worker, cared for others, and had kids in tow. Well, I guess I have picked up some of those habits. So, in an effort to help you ladies out that might be like me and need some quick exercises to throw into your day, I tried out the 10 Minute Solution 30 Day System.

The packet comes with 5 DVDs, a 2-sided workout calendar including a 3 day and 6 day a week option, and a menu plan.  The 5 DVDs include workouts from “Hot Body Boot Camp,” “Pilates Perfect Body,” “Best Belly Blaster,” “Rapid Results Fat Burner,” and “Knockout Body.”  Each DVD includes five to six 10-minute workouts that promise to “shape up” your body.

First off, I love this idea!  Often times, if I want to do a DVD that is 30-50 minutes, something comes up, and I have to pause it in order to take care of mom duties. You know how this is! Someone wets the bed or wakes up to early, depending on whether I exercise in the morning or at night. So, I love that these are 10 minutes. I can break in-between if I need to, or strategically place them throughout the day. I also love that they send a 30 day workout calendar where you can choose a 3 or 6 day a week plan. I meet with a personal trainer two times a week, so this was a nice filler for the days I was off from the gym. If you do not have a gym membership, this provides a great calendar for including daily workouts. It also allows you to create your own custom workout on each DVD.

The kit also included a menu plan, which was great.  It offered a variety of simple meals throughout the day including snack and dessert. I do not know about you, but I’m often frustrated by meal plans that come with books and DVDs because they include items that I would not normally have in my house. This meal plan included great ideas including tacos, wraps, sandwiches, soups and salads. There were very few items on the list that I wanted to substitute with a different item. If you are looking to make some lifestyle changes, this plan is simple plan to use.

Overall, I think this system is great. It maximizes the time that a busy mom has in a day. If you cannot get your three workouts in at once, you can move them around in your day, as long as you complete them! The workouts pack a lot of punch too! The trainers are trying to make the most of your time.  It is also priced fairly if you buy online at So, if you are like me, meeting yourself coming and going… give this system a try!
