Last week I got an email for a new cookbook. I don’t remember the name of the cookbook, but it looked great. After looking at several of the pictures and almost clicking “yes” send me the free trial, I got to thinking about how often I turn to any of my cookbooks that currently reside in my kitchen cabinets.  I can’t think of the last time I actually used cookbook. How about you?

In this day and age, with all the amazing sites on the Internet like,  Pinterest, and so many more, any recipe you want is at the tip of your fingers. You don’t even have to have a recipe in mind. You can simply search the ingredients you have and a million recipes will come up for you to choose from.

For example, I was wanting a good recipe for a meat-less burger. So I turned to pinterest and wallah – I found a recipe for Black Bean Burgers with a Fiesta Slaw.  I love that not only did I get a new recipe, but I can know with some assurance that the recipe is good. Along with most recipes online, there are many, many reviews and suggestions of how different people altered the recipe. I love this.  One of the suggestions for this particular recipe was to go bun-less to save on those calories.  So many great ideas and I love have multiple options for the same recipe all with just one little click of my finger:)  This great recipe was compliments of Lunch Box Bunch.

So, the question is:  do you still use cookbooks or do you turn to the Internet when you are looking for a recipe?
