Plant oils and extracts posses numerous health benefits with minimal risk of toxicity. From toning down oily skin to improving age lines, a lot of skin ailments can be cured with natural, chemical-free ingredients.

Turmeric: Turmeric is a fantastic healing plant with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties. Add turmeric to a bit of water to make a paste. Apply over your sunburned area and let sit for 15-20 minutes. After washing off, apply your layer of Aloe Vera. Repeat twice a day until no redness persists. There are also some recipes of turmeric masks that include adding a bit of milk and almond oil. I have no experience with this, but for those looking for home beauty remedies, you may want to investigate and give it a shot.

These ingredients contribute to its ability to (a) protect skin from sun damage, age related weakening, and circulatory decline; and (b) stimulate skin renovation and restore vitality. Look for cacao in your leg firming creams as it’s an ideal supplement for relieving congested skin and contributing to healthier, tighter and more toned skin. It obviously won’t cure you of cellulite, but by improving skin quality and circulation, can help minimize the appearance.
