Certified Fitness Trainer & Weight-loss Strategist, Britney Tafoya, knows a thing or two about losing weight and adopting a healthy lifestyle. Being that her struggles have molded her into the person she is today. As an obese young adult, Britney had to figure out for herself what mattered, what she wanted, and how she was going to get there. On her 16th birthday weighing 190lbs, she decided she would no longer be the "FAT GIRL”. The very next year she was competing for Miss California USA as the Title holder of her hometown 65lbs lighter. Living in a low income household, Britney had to figure out how to turn those tumbling blocks into stepping stones. She was able to drop 65 lbs by eating healthy on a budget. She educated herself and studied the body, learned about nutrition and exercise, and she hasn't looked back since. When most people would be overwhelmed with the body changes of a twin pregnancy; Britney looked at it as an opportunity to fine tune her metabolism and see what her body could do on its own. She did gain about 70 lbs, but 6 months later she was rocking abs. Since then Britney has dropped an additional 15lbs. Britney is a mother of 3, proving perseverance is the KEY to any success.
