Ilyse is a wife and mom of two children (a son and daughter) who currently resides in northern New Jersey. She is also a freelance writer with a BA and MA in Communications and a certified fitness instructor. She teaches classes ranging from strength circuits and urban rebounding to tabata and CrossFit-type classes. When she is not teaching, lifting weights, writing or spending time with her family, you can find her in the kitchen cooking healthy treats like homemade Twix bars and blondies made from garbanzo beans. Ilyse always shares her goodies with her gym friends to show them that they can enjoy sweets without feeling guilty. Ilyse's motto when she teaches class..."Finish Strong!" She is a firm believer in pushing yourself out of your comfort zone for optimal results.
