With pears being in an abundance this time of year, I decided to satisfy my cravings with the next BEST thing….“Baked Pears”. Baking pears is a SIMPLE way to bring out the fruits natural flavors without the need to add extra sugar. Top with a little greek yogurt and a sprinkle of toasted pecans and you have the PERFECT dessert without the guilt!!
Ingredients
- pears
- cinnamon
- greek yogurt
- toasted pecans
- maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375
- line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- wash and cut pears in half
- sprinkle cut side with cinnamon
- place cut side down on the parchment paper
- Bake for 30 mins until pears are tender
- Serve warm with greek yogurt, toasted pecans & a drizzle of maple syrup.
