Most people either love or hate Brussels Sprouts. Personally I LOVE them and honestly don’t know why anyone would turn their noses up at them? Not only are these “little cabbages”, as I like to call them DELICIOUS, they are SO good for you!! Brussels sprouts are high in Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Folate and Vitamin A, as well as a good source of Manganese, Potassium, B6, and Thiamin. If that hasn’t convinced you Brussels Sprout haters to try them, perhaps my SIMPLE recipe for “Roasted Brussels Sprouts” will.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half lengthwise
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- Sea salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Gently toss Brussels Sprouts with the olive oil, and season with sea salt and pepper.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast for 25 mins or until tender.

Add a little Turmeric! Taste great, adds a nice color, & TONS of health benefits:) I love Brussels!
GREAT idea!! Thanks Ashley!!
I have been using this recipe for several years.
It’s the best way to serve brussel sprouts.
If in a hurry, I put them into the microwave for 2 minutes, then bake
for 10-15 minutes or until roasted!
Enjoy!
