Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies have been a family favorite since the first day I made them, and knowing how healthy they are, I don’t mind if their hands dip into the cookie jar a few extra times!

Made these twice – first time as written except for cranberries since I did not have them on hand. We enjoyed the cookies but the kids did not love them. Trying again with cranberries. Also added a few ingredients to suit my tastes (1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 cup pea butter (alternative to peanut butter due to a nut allergy) and another tbsp of honey.) Super yummy the second time and worth the extra calories since it’s a treat! :)

That is the beauty of this recipe Josie – SO versatile!! I made them yesterday with just the chocolate chips and threw in some shredded unsweetened coconut – and the time before, chocolate chips and a 1/3 cup natural peanut butter – SO yummy!!
