“The Diet Cure” Review and GIVEAWAY

The Diet Cure by Julia Ross M.A. is an 8-step program to re-balance your body chemistry which will end food cravings, the dreaded weight gain, and mood swings.  Julia Ross is a Nutritional Therapist who has found the reason why we overeat, chose sweets over healthy options, and why diets don’t work in the long term. At first I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read this book. I gave the copy to my mother who was looking for some advice on how to lose weight and change her eating habits.  She gave it rave reviews and is making the necessary changes suggested by Ross:

“This is really informative. It talks about how dieting depletes our bodies of important nutrients. Our brain is affected and causes cravings which we satisfy with carbohydrates, sugars and fats. I am very interested in trying some of the recommended amino acids. They are recommended as a supplement until we change what we eat”.

Hearing this peaked my interest and I have borrowed the book back.  I have a sugar and caffeine addiction and would love to rid myself of it quickly and correctly.  The book starts with a questionnaire to determine what habits and behaviors I have that is causing my problems.  Afterwards, you know which chapters pertain to you. I also agree it is informative and it gives you a new perspective on why I crave certain foods and what vitamins and amino acids I need to stop these unhealthy cravings for good. I recommend picking up this book and giving it a try. It just may cure you of all of the unsuccessful diets and send you on your way to a crave-free, healthy lifestyle.

My mother says, “This book has made me very aware of reading labels, eating more fruit and vegetables. Basically taught me how to eat right.  As a result of The Diet Cure, I have eliminated several foods that contribute to overheating”.

I crave sugar! If its sweet- I’ll eat it! Right now chocolate cupcakes are calling my name! Sometimes I swear if someone gets between me and my chocolate they will pull back a bloody stump! Would love to get off this merry-go-round! I already subscribe to the newsletter and have liked on Facebook. Really need to win this!

I would LOVE to win The Diet Cure!! I have been dieting for the last 25 years (I’m only 36) and now I feel like I have completely ruined my body’s chemistry. I’ve been on every diet, diet pill, shake, program out there. Now it seems I gain 5 lbs if I have an extra carrot at lunch time. I’m sick and tired of the roller coaster and would be thrilled to find a solution!

I seriously need this book because I’m working full time, going to nursing school (graduate in 6 months), and I have put on 30 extra pounds. I need something to re-set my metabolism and set me in the right direction to lose weight. I would love to know what to eat, and when instead of grabbing a sugary or salty snack, which also affects my moods. Please consider me in your give-a-way. I would put the book to good use!

I would love to win this book because I think it would really help me!! I’ve been trying to eat healthier and buy healthier groceries and plan meals with skinny mom meal planners and recipes, but I ALWAYS end up craving something sweet. And when I do I always feel horrible for eating whatever candy or cookies I end up buying. I just want to be able to be healthy and cut the cravings and get those sweets out of my mind and out of my house!

i believe that we can change out eating habits if we have enough will-power and determination. understanding why we have to do that may help us more into getting where we want to.

I would love to win this book. I had always been thin naturally until I had surgery on the discs on my neck. I have gained 20 pounds and find myself craving sugar, which only makes me overeat. I need help! The extra weight only puts more stress on my discs, and I do not want to have surgery again. It has been horrible.

Hi! I would love to win “The Diet Cure” book giveaway. As a 43 years old stay at home mother of a high needs 4 year old, I find myself struggling to keep my eating habits at bay. With a long term history of eating disorders- weight loss and weight gain(over- eating) I find that I am consistent craving food and I do not have many sugars in my diet. On top of that I have ADHD, depression and anxiety and have tried for years now to manage those along with infertility, fibroid breast and 3 cyst on my fallophian tubes in which will not go away. On top of that I deal with inflammation and have back, joint and muscle pain from a major car accident I was in 18 years ago. I SO NEED A DIET CURE! Thanks!
