“7 Weeks to 100 Push-ups” Review and GIVEAWAY!

Me and 7 Weeks to 100 Push-ups

To break this book down simply, this very special book teaches you the basic fundamentals of perfecting the pushup, which just so happens to be one of the best body weight workouts and indicators of fitness there are. Steve Spiers does a great job of breaking down the steps that will guide just about anyone down the path to accomplishing the great feat of consecutively performing 100 pushups. By taking a baseline test, you use your own current state of fitness and ability to do pushups to perform those 100 pushups in just 7 weeks. Yes, 7 weeks! What I really enjoy about the book is that it’s simple, to the point, and easy to understand. There is no guesswork needed! Steve also places an emphasis on the importance of warming up and stretching to prevent injuries and increase performance.

This book is not only approachable for beginners but quite challenging for those who are at a more advanced level. Also, if you’re pressed for time and/or don’t have access to a fitness center, then it’s really a no-brainer. Just remember, pushups are fabulous for your whole upper body, your core, and all surrounding muscles; in short, pushups are the triple threat of fitness. You will NOT be disappointed.

I would love to be able to consistently do 100 push-ups! Great book to write, as many women are afraid of these types of workouts.

I was never great at pushups no matter how hard I tried. A couple of months ago I had a breast augmentation and now I can not even do push ups on my knees. I need to read this book!

I am in the US Air Force. This program would definitely help me with my physical training test! I am weakest in push ups. To get max points in the push up component I need to do 47 push ups in one minute.

Building upper body strength has been a struggle of mine. I like to run and loves the effect it has on my lower body, so to reach a goal of a hundred push ups would be a great addition to my routine :)

I have been a runner for years, but I never developed the upper body strength necessary to do pushups. I have just started training for a triathlon and incorporating substantial weight training. I would love to be able to complete 100 pushups as part of my training.

I’ve met Steve a couple of times at the races and until recently didn’t know he wrote this book. I know I need to beef up my pushups for my military requirements and have been interested in it, but haven’t committed to getting the book yet.
