Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a slight obsession with peanut butter. I could ABSOLUTELY live on this stuff!! I will sneak it into any recipe or dish I can, even on my eggs…….OH YES, you read that right, my eggs!! But, we can get more into that in another blog. Another food love of mine is hummus….traditional, garlic, pesto, avocado, red pepper…I have yet to taste one that I don’t like.
So combining these two foods just made sense….as did throwing in a ½ cup of chocolate chips!!
This dip is great with salted pretzels, graham cookies, celery sticks……..even just by the spoonful!!

Mmmm…. peanut butter! I made this today and am bringing it to work as a snack along with an apple and a few Rainforest crackers. I’m thinking it might be really good on toast with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon, or maybe mixed in with plain cottage cheese.
Oooh, I think it would be FABULOUS on toast!! Thanks for the idea Jenn!!
If you love peanut butter you should try PB2 Powder (comes in chocolate and regular, I buy the chocolate)…..it is amazing! I use it in my protien shakes (1 scoop vanilla protien powder, 2 – 3 tbs PB2 and 8-10 oz sugar free vanilla almond milk) DELICIOUS!!!! You can also add water to 2 tbs and end up with “peanut butter” — great on rice cakes. The possibilities are endless with this gem! You can find it on AMAZON.com
