Skinny Peas and Mushrooms

A quick and easy side dish recipe.  This recipe goes perfect with fish or steak. I used fresh mushrooms in this recipe but you could easily substitute with canned mushrooms or canned peas instead of frozen.

Skinny Peas and Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 10 ounce bag frozen peas
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon Splenda
  • butter spray

Instructions

  1. In a medium size skillet, add butter spray and spray skillet with butter spray.
  2. Cook mushroom and garlic over medium heat until mushrooms have browned.
  3. Cook frozen peas in microwave for 5-6 minutes until well heated.
  4. In a small casserole dish, mix mushroom, garlic, peas, sea salt, black pepper, and Splenda.
  5. Serve hot.
