You may not have received the formal baby announcement, but everyone can breathe. The pictures have surfaced. Superbaby bundle, Blue Ivy emerges! And in true superbaby form, she has her own website to make her debut. In all seriousness though, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s gorgeous little girl debuted in a relatively understated fashion, in the form that many of us share our own photos of precious little ones with friends and family, on this family website designed just for the unveiling: http://helloblueivycarter.tumblr.com/
That’s right People magazine, Star magazine, and National Enquirer can all hang up their mega-ultrasonic, telescopic kryptonite-filled zoom lenses in hopes of capturing the first peak at little Baby Blue Carter. In a refreshing display of modesty, it appears that Beyonce and Jay-Z graciously turned away the oodles of dollars being thrown at them for the first exclusive sneak peak at their superbaby, and released the photos themselves on this sweet website with a simple note splashed across that read:
“We welcome you to share our joy.
Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives.

I have to say when you think about the millions of dollars other celebrities have raked in on baby photos (just think, a reported $11-15 million for the Jolie-Pitt twins?!), it really speaks to a sense of humbleness that Beyonce and Jay-Z have demonstrated in their modest, but undoubtedly proud, means of sharing their beauty. And a beauty she is. Nothing less than expected, a precious picture of perfection.
