Because we are always so busy, it is important to be sure we are getting a good breakfast to help sustain our energy through our busy day. My favorite thing to start off with in the morning is something with protein. A high protein breakfast helps break my hunger but also helps keep me fuller through the day compared to a high carbohydrate breakfast. I love eating eggs, like omlets or scrambled eggs, on weekend mornings when I am not so rushed and I can spend time preparing them. But recently I ran across a great idea for eggs that is quick and easy that I can use during the week! It will provide me with protein in the morning but not slow down my schedule with a lenghy preparation. So next time your in a rush, but want a high protein, fast, easy breakfast, try this!
